'한'과 풍류도의 통합정신

하늘과 땅 사이를 흐르는 하나의 숨결이 있다.

'하나'이면서 동시에 '모두'를 품은 거대한 안식의 품,

갈라진 모든 마음이 본래의 모양대로 안겨 쉬는 '한'이다.

바람처럼 흐르고 물처럼 스며드는 현묘한 길

유·불·선의 흐름조차 부드럽게 감싸 안고,

뭇 생명을 어루만져 스스로 피어나게 하는 풍류의 숨결.

대립하던 마음은 한마음의 바다로 모여들고

이(理)와 기(氣)의 거친 파도는 마침내 하나의 결로 흐른다.

너와 나의 경계가 허물어진 자리, 사람이 곧 하늘이 된다.

서로 다른 것은 다투기 위해 존재하는 것이 아니라

서로를 완성하기 위해 존재하나니.

숨길마다 막힘없이 통하여 깊은 평화가 차오르면

우리 안에 고요히 잠들어 있던 신성이 기적처럼 비쳐든다.

동서의 지혜와 우주의 이치가 네 개의 뇌에서 하나로 여물어

천년의 숨결이 4뇌의 한빛으로 온전히 환하게 밝아오니,

마음의 거친 바람은 그치고 내 안의 우주가 다시 숨을 쉰다.

우리는 본래 온전하고 조화로운 아름다운 빛이다.

Brain Healing

The Integrative Spirit of “Han” and Pungnyudo

There is one breath flowing between heaven and earth.

It is “Han” — the vast embrace of rest

that is “one” and yet contains “all,”

where every divided heart returns

and rests in its original form.

A mysterious path flows like wind

and permeates like water.

It gently embraces even the streams of Confucianism, Buddhism,

and Taoism, and touches all living beings

so they may blossom by themselves —

this is the breath of Pungnyu.

Hearts once divided gather

into the sea of one heart.

The rough waves of principle and energy,

Li and Qi, finally flow as one current.

Where the boundary between you and me dissolves,

the human being becomes heaven.

Differences do not exist in order to fight;

they exist in order to complete one another.

When every breath flows without obstruction

and deep peace rises within,

the divinity quietly sleeping inside us

shines forth like a miracle.

When the wisdom of East and West

and the principles of the universe

ripen as one within the four brains,

the breath of a thousand years

brightens fully as the Han-light of the 4 brains.

The rough winds of the mind grow still,

and the universe within me begins to breathe again.

We are, by nature,

a whole, harmonious, and beautiful light.
